Cryotherapy for Peripheral Neuropathy
Peripheral neuropathy in the hands and feet is a common side effect of chemotherapy and certain cancer treatments. This side effect can significantly impact the quality of life for cancer patients during and post treatment. IceCold Gel Socks are specifically designed for applying cryotherapy to the feet, toes and nail beds to reduce the effects of chemotherapy toxicity to those areas. Toxicity effects include peripheral neuropathies, skin and nail bed damage.

Where using IceCold Gel Socks during chemotherapy;
For an average treatment during chemotherapy of 90 minutes it is recommended that a minimum of two (2) pairs of IceCold Gel Socks be used alternating between each pair. Each pair lasting approximately 30-40 minutes. Where a freezer is not readily available a third of fourth pair may be required.
